BibleGateway.com Psalm 91
I almost ignored the time I have to read today. Then a friend brought up the events of the past week and how Satan is trying to divide our church. She said she was praying Psalm 91 for our Pastor. Guess that I was supposed to read today? The day of the big meeting.
My prayer is this: Lord protect our staff, Lord give them rest in your shadow. That you alone will be their fortress and not tradition or human power struggles.
I pray that they will not fear the night (v5) even though it may be closing in all around them. Keep them standing for your name in this plague of evil that has overtaken such people in our church.
I ask the Lord for no harm or disaster to come upon them. God's angels are being commanded to fight in this battle.
I ask you Lord Jesus for their delivery from this struggle and that you will be glorified.
I ask for those that have given into the evil one and started such division and have neglected your word to be brought into repentance. Lord soften their hearts of stone. Replace their hatred and anger with love and mercy.
Thank you Lord for your power is real and you alone can command and resolve this situation.
